Question by : Swiss visa hotel requirement?
Hi Guys,
I have taken a risk. Before applying for Swiss Tourist Visa, I have purchased hotel from Last minute.com, because it was very economical as compare to direct website and I didn’t wanted to loose this Fair. However I have read in Swiss visa requirements
“Written confirmation of hotel reservations. Reservation confirmation issued directly by the hotel clearly stating the visa applicant’s full name, dates of check-in and check-out, the hotel address and contact details. Bookings made via a reservation centre will no longer be accepted. To ensure that visa applicants comply with legislation regarding the authenticity of their trip, controls will be made before and after the visa has been granted. ”
But somewhere on France Visa website , I have also read that if you book hotel through 3rd Party reservation CENTRE like Last minute.com you need to attach an email from hotel , confirming that your booking has reached to hotel…..
Will this be a problem ? I am little bit worried ? Is confirmation from hotel really required ? Can last minute provide me confirmation from Hotel ?
